Merry Christmas And Happy 2023 New Year's

​Christmas is a time of joy, peace, and love. It's a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and to reflect on the many blessings in our lives. As we transition into the New Year's for 2023, we look forward to the many opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

At Bios Kosmos Church, we celebrated Christmas with a variety of events and celebrations. We began with a candlelight service on Christmas Eve, where we sang carols and read scriptures about the birth of Jesus. We also had a special children's program, where the kids sang songs and acted out the Nativity story. On Christmas Day, we had a festive brunch and exchanged gifts with our loved ones.

The transition into the New Year's for 2023 was a time of reflection and renewal. We took time to reflect on the past year and to set goals for the coming year. We also had a New Year's Eve service, where we prayed for God's guidance and blessings in the year ahead.

As we celebrate Christmas and the New Year's, we are reminded of the many scriptures that speak to the meaning of these holidays. In Luke 2:11, we read, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord." This scripture reminds us that Jesus is the reason for the season, and that we should focus on his birth and the gift of salvation that he brings.

In John 3:16, we read, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." This scripture reminds us of the sacrificial love that God has for us, and of the gift of eternal life that we receive through faith in Jesus.

In Isaiah 9:6, we read, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." This scripture reminds us of the many names and attributes of Jesus, and of the peace that he brings to our lives.

In Romans 6:23, we read, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." This scripture reminds us of the gift of salvation that we receive through faith in Jesus, and of the hope that we have for eternal life.
