Lieutenant Pastor Job Description
The Lieutenant pastor serves as the second in command over the Kosmos Church system this is an elected position and all applicants will be subject to public meetings and a church wide vote the purpose of the Lieutenant pastor is to provide a second point of command for all official business with the church system this includes obtaining and maintaining certification as a church operator having the ability to take command of any function of the church system including but not limited to ministries and outreach department leadership's administrative duties teaching and education planning duties up to directing church services weddings funerals etc.
Must seek an certificate of ordination and letter of good standing within the church system accumulative four years of experience as a pastor or any other clergy must be a full time member of Bios Kosmos church for at least one year must be willing to appear at public meetings and tribunals in order to win a majority vote for appointment to the Lieutenant pastor position must have a clean record in the church system with no infractions cannot have any criminal record and must be of good character inside and outside the church system.
*A valid Georgia driver’s license is required.*
*All applicants must reside in the Atlanta metropolitan area.*
*All applicants must reside in the state of Georgia*
This position acts as the 2nd member of the board of directors’ applicants will be required to attend quarterly board meetings which occur every 90 days these meetings may occur in person reliable transportation is required this is also a telework position high speed Internet access is also required compensation is provided based on departments service board of directors does not receive compensation.
