Chief Chaplain Job Description
the role of a chief chaplain is to stay up to date on the latest information in the church system conduct constant biblical research as well as hold regular interactions with the Superintendent of religious education and psychology remain tuned in to the classes and services that happens in the church as well as receive training on the church's education code using this knowledge a chief chaplain should be able to lead a team of chaplains whose job it is to provide pastoral care to the congregations and employees of the church system chief chaplains are also responsible for coordinating missionary events in the ministries and outreach department this is a board member position chief chaplain must report for quarterly board meetings which take place every 90 days whether it is in person or online
Must be 26 years of age or older and possess a master’s degree in education psychology or any other field related to these two. Must be willing to submit to an undergo a criminal background check cannot have any criminal history, this position is a substitute position for any positions on the board of directors.

This position acts as the 6th member of the board of directors’ applicants will be required to attend quarterly board meetings which occur every 90 days these meetings may occur in person reliable transportation is required this is also a telework position high speed Internet access is also required compensation is provided based on departments service board of directors does not receive compensation.
