Chaplain Job Description
Chaplains are meant to serve as a body of people in the church system that has an in-depth knowledge of the Bible and also a in-depth level of care to all the parishioners in the church chaplains will be the first point of contact for any parishioner in the church that may have any problem in their personal work or spiritual lives each chapter will be assigned a group of parishioners that will be approximately five the goal of being a chaplain is to be able to provide assistance to that group of parishioners meet with them on the regular basis to create and discuss spiritual goals for advancing their spiritual journey chaplains are to have an in-depth knowledge of the word of God and how it should be applied to the lives of the people under their care
The requirement for this position is a minimum age of 21 must possess at minimum a high school diploma or GED must be willing to remain in religious education professional development courses either at bios or at another religious institution must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check cannot have any prior convictions of a felony or any crimes that pertains to vulnerable populations or fraud.
Persons in this position will answer to the chief chaplain as well as the pastor of whichever department you are assigned to.
